Meridian Museum of Art

Meridian Museum of Art (MMA) has been Meridian’s longest-running museum and art venue (nearly 53 years) and is housed in the historic Old Carnegie Library building, constructed in 1912-13. The museum seeks to promote and support the art, artists, and art programs of our area and region through art education, exhibitions, collections, collaborations with other organizations, special events, and community involvement. MMA programs are designed to further these goals and to make art accessible to everyone in the community.

Temple Theatre for the Performing Arts

The Temple Theatre is the state’s largest and most opulent cinema. The theatre is a time capsule that everyone should see! There are tunnels and catacombs leading to an original Cold War fallout bunker. When there isn’t a live stage play, we normally show recent movies on our massive 40-foot screen. Local artists such as Meridian Community College filmmakers and others are encouraged to showcase their skills here. Call us or drop in for a tour. You will not be disappointed!
